I'm a software engineer at Investortools working on the C++/JS platform team. I regularly work across the stack, from C++ infrastructure to front-end work in JS, HTML, and CSS. I'm also pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech on the Computing Systems track.

During my undergraduate career I studied Mathematics (with a dose of Computer Science) at the University of Chicago. After taking a database systems course in Rust in my third year, I realized writing software for a career wouldn't be such a bad idea!

## Work Experience
### Software Engineer @ Investortools, Inc.
Jan 2024 – Present | New York, NY
• Built a C++ YAML parser for an in-house test framework, cutting edit–compile–debug cycles by 90%.
• Parallelized a data-ingestion pipeline, accelerating APEX financial data processing 3.5 times.
• Migrated a critical Windows MFC tool to Qt 6, significantly improving maintainability and enabling cross-platform support. 
• Built a full-stack C++ and Javascript client-ticketing system, greatly reducing client ticket management time.
• Enhanced domain-specific language interpreter. Built out an internal array manipulation library (zip, filter, slice, etc.) and added validation to various core data structure functions.
• Maintained an internal backend chart library and expanded it into a client-facing dashboard feature, adding support for multiple data series, GUI customization, etc.
• Fixed dozens of critical bugs across a multi-million-line C++/JS codebase.
• Contributed significant UI enhancements to features such as the Notification Center and built-from-scratch web components written in Javascript.
• Implemented system-wide dark mode for improved accessibility and visual consistency.

• Setup front-end E2E tests using Microsoft Playwright, improving stability of CI/CD.
• Maintained Django REST APIs, resolved critical bugs to increase site reliability.
• Enhanced and debugged complex PostgresSQL queries to resolve critical performance bugs, reduce latency and increase availability of the service.
• Automated the management of UI and service configuration in order to reduce operational burden and time-to-deploy changes.
