# Eamonn Gahan > Engineering Leader Location: London, England, United Kingdom Profile: https://flows.cv/eamonngahan Generally speaking I like to split out what I do into three areas: 1. People I aim to create a great working environment for developers. This could be running 1 to 1’s, setting up paths for an individual’s career progression and simply aiming to keep everything running smoothly. With people also comes recruitment and team building. 2. Product/Tech Strive to be fully aware of the current state of product development, understanding the current and future roadmap as well as the individual sprint features. Acute awareness of the overall technical architecture for providing the necessary context in any discussion with individual developers as well as possible candidates and other team members. 3. Entertainment, Fairtrade, Swatch, HP, The British Monarchy, O2, Jack Daniels, Big Brother, Holiday Inn and many more). The role quickly expanded and shifted to a Technical Project Manager/Senior Developer hybrid where I managed projects from inception to delivery. I wrote pitches, attended scoping meetings with stakeholders, negotiated on and priced up application costs, oversaw and participated in the creation of functional specifications, wireframes, internal design decisions as well as being heavily involved in the actual development of the applications. Project performance was always tracked and measured to deliver on time and within established budgets. I interviewed, managed and trained up multiple Junior developers alongside the CTO. Furthermore I kept up to date with and became an expert in all new Facebook platform features and developments (such as Credits and Open Graph) in the three years at iPlatform. This knowledge helped the iPlatform win pitches and succeed in the digital agency space. ### Ruby on Rails Developer @ Medikidz Limited Jan 2010 – Jan 2010 ## Education ### Y Combinator ### B.S in Biochemistry UC Santa Barbara ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/gahan --- Source: https://flows.cv/eamonngahan JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/eamonngahan/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-05
