Previously worked on Account Authentication at Roblox building the auth service.
Redesigning Roblox User Authentication to facilitate a safer and frictionless user experience.
Initiated, led and implemented the next generation user authentication service at Roblox, one of the highest traffic'd systems at the company (2M qps+ averaged!). System is used by all Roblox users and services 24/7 for all authenticated API calls to the Roblox backend (54.1 million daily active users as of Q1 2022). Massively improved security and maintainability of Roblox's user authentication system.
Microservice Platform Team:
One of the original engineers on the engineering team working on the decomposition of Roblox backend from a monolith into a modern containerized microservice backend.
Involved in work from high level system design (mostly monolith decomposition) to application framework, CI/CD work. Any part of the software stack after installing the OS onto a bare metal machine I've probably had some experience setting up and/or designing.
Spent extra time on the APIGateway and Authentication service(s) in both high level design and implementation. Migrated (and rewrote!) major pieces of the stack used daily by ALL Roblox users.
