Acted as 2IC to the CPO to build out the product function in a rapidly growing scale up. The role spanned product design, product development and delivery responsibilities. Ultimately, I led product delivery function for APAC. I worked closely with our enterprise customers' product and tech teams to integrate OCR Labs' ID verification solution.
I managed all student-facing product features at Mathletics. This accounted for 1.5 million active users across several SaaS web applications such as the student interface, the rewards app, the avatar system and all games. I also managed the development of the iOS and Android versions of the app. Being a very content heavy product, a large component of this role was delivering educational content, especially video and animation.
This role sat at the intersection between UX design and product management. I was the go-to person for new product ideas, especially those related to motivating students. A key part was being in-tune with users through a range of UX research methods (workshops, focus groups, interviews, contextual observation, guerilla testing).
