I work with a talented team of front-end developers to add new features to an ecommerce site, reduce technical debt, and make decisions about site architecture. We also brought in two new apps built by an outside company and took over management and construction of those applications.

I work with various tools like React, React-Native, Redux, Jest, Flow, and jQuery in my daily tasks, and am always excited at the prospect of using new tools. Additionally, I led the investigation into our site performance issues with an end result of page load time dropping below one second. 

We use an agile workflow with bi-weekly planning and retrospectives for future and finished sprints, respectively. I take ownership of all features I am assigned, and pride in all code I add to our product.

I worked with a data scientist to build out a mobile friendly web application (soon to be converted to native mobile) which would allow workers to comment about various aspects of their work anonymously, while allowing their employers/supervisors to see what was at the heart of their comments. 

I built out the front end for this application while also working with new user creation, authentication, and data partitioning. I built a staging environment to allow us to test all of the changes we made before deploying to production. This app was largely built using React.js and will soon be utilizing react-native as well. 

We use agile project management to go over our deadlines and daily calls to keep up to date with whether or not everyone is hitting their goals for the sprint.
