Joined Mashable to work with another super talented team of fully remote engineers. Working extensively on the CMS (ES6, React/Redux with Rails API) that powers a site that reaches millions of people a day.
➔ Built canvas WYSIWYG image editor to create our Reel covers, Mashable’s web-based Snap story product
➔ Redesigned and rebuilt our publishing scheduling tool
➔ Drove the effort behind our CMS redesign working closely with our lead designer
➔ Built an in house newsletter editor that is fully integrated with Sailthru
➔ Taught myself how to create a Chrome Extension in React/Redux to support collecting articles and videos for those newsletters

Built a new online learning platform for enterprise students in a fully distributed team. Worked closely with the product team from day one of the development. Made decisions and helped figure out architecture, system design, and user experience. Advocated for the importance of coding best practices, tests, and regular code reviews within the organization.
➔ Built a new learning platform using Rails API and React/Redux stack for enterprise students

WegoWise builds software for landlords and property owners to monitor their buildings’ water, electricity, gas and oil consumption and increase building efficiency.
Utilized the fully-full stack to build wegowise.com as part of a small passionate remote dev team (via HipChat/Slack, Hangouts and ScreenHero, Zoom). Implemented various new features - both internal and client facing - while maintaining full test coverage and helping people save energy one feature at a time.
➔ Account dashboard for Client Managers to monitor customer accounts, offer advice and fix problems
➔ Complex data visualizations of resource usage and trends over time
➔ PDF and CSV file exports for delivery to clients
➔ Maintaining full test coverage (sinon, chai, rspec, capybara)
➔ Working closely with Product and Design to make the app more
intuitive, speed up the feedback loop and increase overall customer happiness
