As COO, I led both the technical execution and operational scaling of DeepchatBI, an AI-native BI platform focused on turning complex data into trusted insights through natural language.
My scope spanned product architecture, engineering execution, and go-to-market operations, with a strong emphasis on building systems that work with real enterprise data, not demos.
Key responsibilities & impact:
1. Drove the transition from “AI-first” experimentation to an explicit semantic & metrics-first architecture, ensuring conversational analytics remained accurate, governed, and trustworthy at scale.
2. Led product and technical strategy, including semantic modeling, metrics ownership, query orchestration, and explainability for enterprise BI use cases.
3. Managed and coordinated a ~20-person engineering organization (including offshore teams), covering roadmap planning, delivery execution, and cross-time-zone collaboration.
4. Acted as the primary bridge between engineering, customers, and business stakeholders, translating real customer data problems into product and platform decisions.
5. Supported customer pilots, design-partner programs, and GTM conversations, helping position DeepchatBI alongside existing BI stacks (Tableau / Power BI / modern data platforms).
6. Contributed to fundraising and investor discussions, product vision articulation, and early company operations.
Overall, the role combined hands-on technical leadership with operational ownership, focused on building a production-ready AI BI platform grounded in real data definitions, pipelines, and organizational constraints.
