Provided productivity enhancements to PCB Tools and departmental workflow solutions to handle planning, scheduling, costing, and reporting needs. Developed custom web applications through all stages of the software development process. Solutions evolved using .NET framework, SQL Server, IIS, SMTP, LDAP, FTP and web services.
• Decreased the number of errors to near 0% and implemented key enhancements resulting in greater customer satisfaction of a Perl/VBA based PCB Simulation Tool.
• Managed a cross departmental team on an ASP.NET/C# project which analyzed and developed a solution to reduce PCB failures resulting in a $125K savings annually.
• Developed an ASP.NET/C# order management application for corporate manufacturing which replaced a collection of unrelated applications and spreadsheets which achieved a dramatic improvement in TAT (turn around time) and OTD (on time delivery).
• Volunteered to lead a PC CAD library project that was 6 months behind schedule, implemented a C# Windows Service solution that restored the project to being delivered on time.
• Selected to participate on an enterprise-wide critical project to migrate a database to SQL Server with a fixed release date, able to complete in half the time with no additional resources.
• Developed a solution for a complex unresolved technical issue, in 3 to 4 weeks for a problem that was technically challenging and that had been languishing for almost a year.
• Developed a PCB/Planning workflow management application using ASP.NET/C# and SQL Server through all phases of software lifecycle which resulting in a reduction in the number of late jobs.
