Hello! I'm Edward and I'm currently a Software Development Engineer II @ Amazon Web Services (AWS).

I primarily worked on building scalable, reliable, high-throughput microservices with Java and Typescript (Node) deployed on AWS.  I've worked across the stack with production experience in API development, infrastructure development (primarily AWS with IaC), and DevOps-related work (deployments, operations, monitoring).

Recently helped launched AWS's new Gen AI powered enterprise app builder (AWS App Studio https://aws.amazon.com/app-studio/).

SDE II on the Data/Connectors team for the recently launched Gen AI powered enterprise app builder, AWS App Studio (https://aws.amazon.com/app-studio/).

Worked on delivering data modeling, managed storage, and database connector functionality for the product. Solved interesting problems including database query code-generation, managed databases for customer applications, data connectors to various AWS data sources, and data persistence.

Mostly working with Typescript (Node), various AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch) and deploying infra with AWS CDK (infra as code).

SDE on the Identity/Collaboration team at Amazon Honeycode delivering features centered around identity management, team management, and enterprise onboarding.

- Owned the migration of Honeycode's AWS Management Console from an architecture built on legacy systems to a serverless native AWS infrastructure with minimal customer downtime. The migration reduced the number of code packages & deployment pipelines by 75%, managed EC2 hosts from 10 to 0, and deployment times by 30+ minutes.
