# Edwin Brower > Software Engineer Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/edwinbrower I have a passion for creating accessible code that delivers a great user experience. As a React Native full-stack developer with over 6 years of experience I am committed to writing clean, modular, and product-minded code. I am dedicated to mentorship and helping teammates improve their skills through thorough code reviews and one-on-one guidance so they too can deliver high-quality software. Prior to my career in software engineering, I earned 2 degrees from Stanford University while competing 4 years as a Division 1 PAC-12 Varsity rower. My strong work ethic has always been a driving force in everything I do. Before moving out west to Stanford, I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy attending drag shows, working out at the gym or a Barry's class, traveling, and spending time with friends. I'm currently seeking new opportunities either remotely or in-person in San Francisco. I'm interested in roles that allow me to use my expertise in React Native. If you think I'd be a good fit at your company, please feel free to reach out. I'd love to hear from you! ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ The Cigna Group Jan 2023 – Present - Created a reusable analytics library within cigna's monorepo within React Native that allowed for accurate tracking with ease of developer use - Built greenfield provider search & match assessment using design system components with accessibility in mind - Selected for "Garage: Product Development Accelerator", a 12 week program focusing on high priority opportunities ### Software Engineer @ Solomon Page Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 Contract for The Cigna Group ### Senior Software Engineer @ Mercari Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | San Francisco Bay Area • Led an Accessibility (a11y) project to improve usability for all users.
