I worked at Darby Smart until its acquisition by Grove Collaborative in April 2019.

• Quickly iterate and launch new features such as polls and product pages on a React / Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL stack in 2-week sprints. Later transitioned to Vue.js / Rust / Redis + Elasticsearch

• Work on automating content syndication to platforms such as Pinterest, RSS feeds and Apple News to grow organic traffic 12x at peak (2x from original baseline on average)

• Perform A/B testing and prepare analytics dashboards to evaluate impact and engagement

• Automate deployments services like Redis, Elasticsearch, and AWS Redshift analytics pipeline using Ansible and AWS ec2 instances

• Own features such as developing bucket-level support for CORS and generating static websites from buckets for an open-source / AWS S3-compatible NodeJS server for object storage

• Implement and document versioning logic in the storage API, a crucial prerequisite for cross-region replication between storage sites, with implications for high-stakes sales contracts ($1,000,000+)

• Design and implement core API set as one of three primary contributors for the Scality Connect product launch, which translates S3 API calls to Microsoft Azure Blob Storage API calls

• Debug and write functional tests to improve measured compatibility with the AWS S3 protocol from 59.3% of the Ceph S3 Test Suite to 77.6% (92.5% excluding unimplemented feature-sets)
