Worked in the Collaborative Haptics and Robotics in Medicine Lab under Professor Allison Okamura with PhD candidate Brian Do on novel vine robot mechanisms. Utilized CAD, 3D-printing, and prototyping skills.
• Built base and body of a steerable vine robot
• Created vine robot documentation for the vinerobots.org website
• Created test setups for vine robots and collected footage from tip-mounted camera
• Analyzed and ran monocular SLAM on vine robot footage
• Designed and sewed vest housing for sensors, Macro-Mini Pneumatic Pouch project
• Recipient of NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates Sponsorship for Summer of 2021
