•   Designed a Java program that tells users the best route to take to go from their origin to destination. This program gave users the route with the least average travel time and the route with the least variance for average travel time. 
•   Examined the map of the Chicago area and travel data for different road networks in the Chicago area. The data collected was used to design a stochastic network to represent the road network between Schaumburg, Lake Forest and downtown Chicago.
•   Investigated factors that decided the best routes from an origin to destination in a given road network.
•   Made a PowerPoint presentation on the objectives and findings of the research to a panel of professors and students.
