Gunner on the M777A2 towed howitzer at the rank of Sergeant. This position embodies the values of precision and leadership in order to effectively shoot, move, and communicate with a highly effective team. My duties included running my tasks and drills to have an efficient crew and maintaining squad coherence in addition to being a primary source of knowledge and training on the M777A2 howitzer.
Previous duties included:
ATC (Ammo Team Chief), traditionally a position held by an NCO (non-commissioned officer), but was tasked to take this position as a lower enlisted. This allowed me to take charge of a small group of soldiers, track sensitive equipment, and maintain legal documents that were vital to mission operations.
Gunner, a leadership role on the Gun Line, traditionally a position held by an NCO, again I was tasked with filling into a higher role as a lower enlisted. My duties included running my tasks and drills to have an efficient crew and maintaining squad coherence.
