# Elisabeth Edrington > Senior Software Engineer at NASDAQ Location: Denver, Colorado, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/elisabeth 3 years of experience working as a Software Engineer on the base of 8 years as a chiropractor where I became an excellent leader, communicator, and teammate. Currently working in a .net Core environment with experience in Node.js and React.js. While Conga was my first job in the industry, I was able to rise to a Senior position within my three years there. I started working on frontend mostly using React and some Salesforce aura/apex/lightning component code. After that, I was able to pioneer a .Net Core microservice for one of our products based on a newly built microservice template. That success allowed me to switch to a backend role and a new team. On this team, I was successful in delivering a brand new API that consisted of 7 .Net microservices, two of which I was in charge of training a pair of associate engineers to write based on a .Net template. When I joined this team, they were technically skilled, but I quickly helped change the culture of the team to one that communicates well, has fun, and worked extremely well together. Part of my accelerated promotion to senior was due to my influence in turning this team into one of the highest-producing, and most energized teams in our department. I participated in a 6-month long project aimed at training associates not only on Conga-specific development but on creating engineers that understand the tools of the trade and have the leadership and communication skills to be excellent engineers. I was able to participate in this as a content creator, presenter, and mentor. I continued to mentor one of the 6 hires until I left conga, and have maintained that relationship as well. I also ran a small group from that academy that met weekly to work on a small .net microservice in order to learn .Net and other tenants of backend development. I've also participated in a company-wide telemetry initiative, and have been leading a group of engineers from across the company (and the world) in training on this new platform. In late 2023 I made the decision to exit Conga and join Nasdaq on a Developer Experience team, writing tools and internal applications and pipelines for app developers across the company. Outside of work, I've participated in online code challenges, tutoring Bootcamp students and I participated in a discord aimed at asking technical questions and getting help from a variety of skill sets. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ eVestment, A Part of Nasdaq Jan 2023 – Present | Denver, Colorado, United States -Migrated a .Net Framework application with both single and multiple tenant architecture deployed on Azure Classic Services to .Net Core and deployed as Azure Container Applications. -Pipelines using yaml and terraform within Azure devops to build, test and deploy applications to multiple environments including production. -.Net libraries for internal apps to consume throughout the company, including features such as authentication, feature flag management and configuration managment Implemented a new authentication scheme for a .Net core application using Auth0 libraries and APIs. -Participated in Disaster Recovery plans and practice runs for multiple applications and microservices in both AWS and Azure. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Conga Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | Broomfield, Colorado, United States -
