I supported sponsorship for the company and was selected as an invited speaker to the 2017 Million Women Mentors Summit & Awards: Advancing The Movement in Washington, DC in October 2017. I created a video blog about my experience as a woman in STEM and the need for awareness in order to inspire young women to pursue their field of choice. I've also presented at state-wide events in Pennsylvania to hundreds of young girls about my experiences in STEM in order to increase their confidence as well as their interest in STEM fields.

Team HyperLift competed in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. We were the only high school team in the world chosen to advance to the final rounds where a total of 29 teams out of an initial 1200 entries constructed a prototype pod. At Competition Weekend in January 2017, we placed 9th overall and received an Honorable Mention for Performance and Operation as we were the first pod ever to levitate in a vacuum.
