# Ella Levin > Software Engineer at Arineta Ltd. Location: Walnut Creek, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/ellalevin • Software Engineer with experience developing production systems in complex R&D environments. • Strong in end-to-end feature ownership, complex debugging, and cross-team collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. • Background in electrochemistry research brings strong analytical thinking and system-level problem-solving skills. • Following a recent relocation to the U.S., I am seeking a junior–mid software engineering role with opportunities for continuous learning and growth. Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer (no sponsorship required). ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Arineta Ltd. Jan 2022 – Present • Developed end-to-end features for a large-scale cardiac CT clinical application using C#/.NET, taking projects from initial requirements through deployment on physical hardware. • Architected complex logic within a high-convoluted multi-rule system, ensuring synchronized parameter updates and robust system resource management. • Implemented mission-critical functionality with a strict focus on fail-safe behavior to ensure uninterrupted system performance during clinical procedures. • Resolved hundreds of complex software bugs in a full-stack environment, utilizing deep log analysis and system-level debugging to improve software reliability. • Collaborated across multidisciplinary teams (System, Real-Time, Applications, and V&V) to translate clinical requirements into technical specifications and validated features. ### Research Assistant @ Stanford University Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 • Developed novel methods for chemical modification of activated carbon, by three sequential steps: Bromomethylation, Azide modification, and copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (‘CLICK’) reaction with various ethynylated species. • Performed chemical characterization, for each of the three steps, using XRF, EA, titration, and ICP chemical analysis methods. ### Research Assistant @ Bar-Ilan University Jan 2008 – Jan 2010 • During the 2 years of research, practiced research on cathode materials for Li-Ion batteries operating by a self-combustion reaction principle. The research was funded by ETV Motors Company with the goal of developing a breakthrough high voltage spinel oxide battery to be used as the main power supply for an electrical vehicle. • Was responsible for the complete process of synthesis of the battery cathode material, composed of Ni-Mn-Li (NMS) compound in a spinel structure. • Was responsible for the chemical characterization of new delivered NMS compounds, using XRD, BET, SEM, EDAX, and ICP chemical analysis methods, with the purpose of defining the compound surface morphology, structure, size, and surface areas. • Performed optimization for each of the various stages in the overall production process of the battery. • Assembled the coin cell batteries in an inert environment using a glove box apparatus, followed by a series of electrochemical measurements. ### IT Team Leader @ Central IT Organization Jan 2002 – Jan 2004 • Managed a team of 12. • Responsible for the onboarding and mentoring of new technicians. ## Education ### Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science Tel Aviv University ### Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Materials Chemistry Bar-Ilan University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/ellalevin --- Source: https://flows.cv/ellalevin JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/ellalevin/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-10
