Currently at Nelo, I am a Tech Lead and Engineer with a track record of spearheading technological innovations. At Buf Technologies, I led key projects like 'proto-gen-validate' and developed 'prototransform' and 'protovalidate', playing a pivotal role in the open-source community.
My hands-on approach to open-source community building, coupled with my commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, has positioned me as a trusted figure in both product development and community engagement. My accomplishments include:
•
Successfully migrating 'proto-gen-validate' from the envoyproxy team to bufbuild organization while cultivating an active open source community.
•
Directing the development of 'prototransform', gathering feedback from the developer community, and refining based on real-world applications.
•
Leading the design and implementation of 'protovalidate' in Go, Java, Python, and C++, all while nurturing developer relationships to ensure optimum code quality.
•
Seamlessly integrating developer relations in every project phase, organizing community events, encouraging open-source contributions, and fostering a collaborative environment.
At ANZ Plus, the comprehensive management of the design and implementation of card management functions was seen through a series of bespoke Go microservices, spanning from ideation to final delivery. As part of this extensive initiative, the following features were delivered:
•
Capability to lock and unlock cards.
•
Advanced controls for physical cards encompassing aspects such as ATM, online, and international usage. A noteworthy industry-first inclusion was the gambling block with impulse protection.
•
Provision of digital card details within the app.
•
Thorough card lifecycle management.
•
Real-time card delivery tracking.
•
Seamless provisioning for both Apple Pay and Google Pay.
In addition, a strategic relationship with partners like Visa was fostered, culminating in the crafting of a forward-thinking contract with the Visa Developer Portal APIs. This collaboration is expected to stand ANZ in good stead for many years.
