Responsible for automating manual processes and building an application to support a loan service generating millions of dollars in revenue previously entirely run out of Google Sheets ### Software Engineer @ Indigo Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States Full-stack software developer working on Indigo's Market+ platform. FastAPI + Python backend, React + TypeScript frontend using Postgres as a data store. Worked on building out the Contracting service, which was a contract management application tailored to the needs of grain buyers that supported them through the negotiating, pricing and tracking of their grain contracts with individual growers. This mobile first full stack app was built using React, Javascript, Flask, Python, and Postgres. ### Data Analyst @ Brightcove Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Greater Boston Area - One of two developers of a data warehouse (Amazon Redshift) responsible for warehouse architecture and quality assurance. - Manages the daily data flows into the warehouse from sources such as Oracle and Salesforce using Matillion - Developer for consumable Tableau dashboards used internally by anyone from sales to Executive Staff - Designed models using SQL such as projecting overages revenue in aid of 606 accounting process. - Responsible for providing data sets for any data driven initiatives across the company ### Finance Intern @ Brightcove Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | Boston, MA - Developed a system to track monetary flows of upwards of $60 million in Excel - Managed a weekly report on company headcount that was reported to the CEO and CFO directly - Designed a model for sales capacity to be used for quarterly budget planning - Created data visualizations on Tableau and integrated these into SalesForce ### Research Assistant/ Outreach Manager @ Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth Jan 2013 – Jan 2015 | Hanover, NH This project involved using a Micro CT scanner to create tomographic images of Antarctic sea ice in order to map the ice with respect to its air pockets and brine channels to further discover how materials move through the ice. I worked collaboratively in a team with a professor and PhD student on field research, lab work, and papers. In the winter of 2015 I went on a field research expedition with this team to Barrow, AK to collect sea ice over a six-week period. While there I was also the outreach coordinator, designing an interactive learning experience for students ages K-12 pertaining to our research. My responsibilities included keeping a blog, updating our website, and planning a culminating outreach tour from Fairbanks, AK to Hanover, NH in order to speak and present at a total of twelve schools and one museum. ### Design Intern @ New England Aquarium Jan 2014 – Jan 2014 My primary job here was to address each step that was necessary for the aquarium to achieve LEED Building certification. It was my responsibility to write and implement new policies for the aquarium.
