• Firmware development including implementing high-level algorithms as efficient low-level functions and improving the performance of existing code
• Collaborated with the product manager and quality engineer to generate the software FMEA and software verification test plan for our commercial product in compliance with FDA and IEC standards.
• Executed software verification including writing verification test procedures, writing firmware to support testing efforts, performing verification, and submitting reports.

### Software Engineer @ Lily, Inc.

• Single-handedly fixed, maintained, and improved the motion capture and flight testing system used for data collection. Developed the previously unused system into an integral part of characterizing the onboard sensors, tuning the flight controller, and debugging flight control issues.
• Wrote regression tests that ran in automation that quantified the performance of onboard components and established a system of tracking performance metrics for new firmware packages. This greatly improved the turnaround time on smoke testing, the efficiency of diagnosing bugs, and the ability to measure improvements during development.
