I was solely responsible for laying out the pages for this weekly newspaper. This role combined copy-editing, desktop publishing, and graphic design. I used Adobe InDesign in combination with several other enterprise applications to make this happen. During my downtime, I wrote a Python script to parse tide charts from a web page's html (they had no API) and export these into a format which could be more easily pasted into our projects.
I trained my successor in this role.
