Developing the companion apps for Honda's next gen EVs.

Multiplatform project using SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Compose.

* Platform Work *

• Drove the effort to refactor a major function of the app to improve the Android app’s crash-free rate by 70 percent and reduce total crashes by 50 percent.

• Supported Android feature teams by improving app stability and was a part of a small group of on-call engineers who triaged crashes, fixed CI and build issues, and monitored the weekly app release.

• Kept the app up to date with most current Android APIs and OS versions as well as deprecating behaviors and libraries when needed.

• Worked on multiple modularization efforts.

* Feature Work*

• Developed several user safety features including a new privacy settings screen and quarantined subreddit content gating.

• Standardized NSFW censorship throughout app (feeds, posts), creating a consistent user experience and improving developer velocity.

• One of two Android developers on Adobe Layers collaboration project (Fall 2019).

Developed a new production-ready feature in the Android app that enhances the customer's mobile search and browse experience.

Supported the API team to create the contract for a new service used by my feature.

Engaged with UX designers and PMs throughout the development process.

Developed proof of concept Android apps and a web app prototype that used live back-end services to provide a competitive installment loan product.

Winner of company hackathon centered on developing an Amazon Echo skill.
