• Built data analysis pipeline for PowerWatch, which uses remote sensing to track power outages across an electrical grid. Started out in Prabal Dutta’s Embedded Systems Lab at Berkeley EECS.
• Implemented and evaluated unsupervised clustering algorithms to geo-spatially and temporally quantify correlations between time series data and define a “power outage”.
• Sourced data and built supervised models to estimate high resolution population and meter distributions.
• Generated a batch job for real time updates compatible with outage map data visualization system.
• Calculated KPI’s to evaluate outages.
• Showed empirically that there are enough sensors deployed to detect medium and high voltage outages.
• Involved in business development and hiring.
• Created paths to map nLine’s road to impact.
