Hello, my name is Emmanuel! I am a Computer Science major at the University of Maryland with a minor in Business, and I am focused on building systems that solve real problems and create meaningful impact. 

I currently work as a Software Engineer for UMD’s student newspaper, The Diamondback. Previously, I was a Software Engineer Intern at Ticketmaster, working on a ticketing platform that models live-event workflows, and I developed backend systems for Vex, an AI-powered voice chat platform, through the App Dev Club. 

Beyond technical work, I am highly invested in people and community building. As an Event Coordinator for Code: Black, I organize events that connect students with industry professionals and technical resources. 

Outside of work, I enjoy watching Ravens games, participating in and refereeing intramural sports, and engaging with the communities I am part of, including ColorStack and BES/NSBE. 

I am always open to connecting with others, especially in backend systems, AI, Web3.0, and cloud infrastructure.
