I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon with 14+ years building large-scale distributed systems and platform infrastructure across media, ads, commerce, and ML-driven decision pipelines.

Seattle, Washington, United States
I currently work in Amazon’s Creators and Associates organization, where I design and lead AI-driven risk and policy enforcement platforms operating at massive scale. These systems replace manual review with automated, agentic workflows that combine machine learning inference, large-scale web crawling, and real-time decisioning, supporting thousands of new creator signups daily and continuous monitoring across millions of creator and affiliate properties spanning multiple marketplaces. My focus is on platform architecture: decoupled ingestion and decision pipelines, cross-marketplace intelligence, resilient data flows, observability, and cost-efficient scaling under sustained growth.
Previously, I spent several years in Prime Video(PV), working across Commerce and Catalog domains. In PV Commerce, I contributed to foundational launches including Channels and large-scale initiatives such as Ads, requiring deep integration across ads, playback, monetization, and commerce systems. I later moved to PV Catalog and Media Supply Chain, where I worked on content lifecycle problems and helped build early ML-assisted and automated dubbing workflows, improving global content readiness and localization velocity.
Across roles, my work consistently centers on distributed systems and platform engineering in designing fault-tolerant systems that scale by construction, minimize operational overhead, and create long-term technical leverage. I’m frequently brought into ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces where system boundaries are unclear and correctness, latency, and reliability all matter simultaneously.
My technical interests include distributed systems, platform architecture, large-scale data pipelines, agentic AI systems, ML-driven decision platforms, and web crawling at scale. I value first-principles thinking, clear ownership models, and building systems that continue to compound value over time.

One of the founding engineers in Walmart’s Bangalore-based Ad Tech team, contributing to core search and targeting infrastructure.
Designed and implemented a high-performance catalog search REST API using Play Framework, SOLR, and Scala, delivering significantly lower latency and finer-grained search capabilities than the legacy system.
Re-architected a Ruby on Rails–based data pipeline that moved 120M+ rows from Hive to SOLR biweekly. Migrated it to Scala using Future-based concurrency, resulting in a 75% reduction in runtime and eliminating a MySQL-based buffering layer.
Developed scalable Ad Targeting APIs for order management and filtering logic in Scala and Play, supporting Walmart’s personalized advertising engine.
Actively contributed to hiring, mentoring, code and design reviews, and growing the engineering culture within the newly established Bangalore Ad Tech team.

Tech Lead and first engineer on RockYou's Bangalore Ads Engineering team.
Built Ad platform for RockYou Ad network for both SSP and DSP.
Focused on writing reusable, maintainable and unit testable code.
Hired and trained new engineer.

Worked on various POCs of new frameworks , tested them on larger scale, implemented new stacks for existing applications to cut down cost of running services, addressed reliability issue of apps during high volume days, code review and mentored junior developers.
Developed framework to solve timezone issue faced during scaling application(HR app depended heavily on accuracy and flexibility of time/date ) to various countries.
Wrote utilities to handle time and dates at Browser level and backend level to guarantee consistency.
This framework eliminated the need of running servers in different timezones to match users and hence reducing hardware costs significantly.

Worked on dev team that looked after trade allocation application post exchange execution.
Wrote java app that converted messages from one format to another. e.g. FIX to XML based on configuration. Conversion logic hosted in child process that ran independent of core process and as a adapter and it could be plugged in. Parser was high throughput process that is capable of transforming 50k messages in a second.
Participated in design discussions, reviewed code of other team members
