•Owned the codebase for the lender-side (i.e. enterprise) application serving hundreds of leading financial institutions and processing ~25% of all mortgage applications in the US per year.
•Led a phased, multiyear, teamwide frontend code conversion from Angular to React, from research and planning through execution, testing, and release, resulting in a vastly improved user experience and developer ergonomics.
•Built several backend-driven frontend applications featuring extensible design patterns that facilitated feature development from other teams within Blend.
•Promoted code velocity and quality through improvements to shared packages, testing infrastructure, documentation, and best practices.
•As a codeowner, responsibilities included on-call rotations, error monitoring, deployment, and code reviews.
•Regularly collaborated with designers, product managers, and other engineering teams throughout the development cycle to give feedback and manage code complexities.
