Designed and produced multiple collections of service-ware for Chef Tusk’s acclaimed 3 Michelin starred restaurant Quince, and for his more rustic restaurant, Cotogna. Recently built all new tabletops and countertops for Saru Sushi Bar. Work is made to the highest standards and is built to withstand the rigors or continuous daily use in a high turnover environment.

Jan 2017 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco, CA
Established a Made in USA segment of the company and expanded new product offerings to the best known mid-high end furniture retailers on the US market. Designed, presented, developed new Outdoor concepts including gas fire tables and bowls, wood burning units, planters, and fountains in concrete and metal. Succeeded in growing domestic production.

### Associate Furniture Designer - Kohler Co. @ McGuire Furniture Company
Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco, CA
Sole designer working directly with Director of NPD to develop innovative furniture that capitalized on and expanded the natural material palette and hand-crafted appeal of McGuire as a high-end casual luxury brand. Created technical drawings, communicated with factories, reviewed prototypes, and supported hospitality and customer service channels.

### Industrial Designer / UX / Branding @ CHENG Products / Shapecrete
Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | Berkeley, CA
Integral to developing and landing this malleable concrete mix on the shelves of big box retailers. Designed, built, documented, and published a huge range of how-to projects and videos. Strengthened the look and feel of the brand, managed web content, and provided advanced technical support to customers. Designed and built trade show booths and demo’d the product to thousands of people as it launched nationwide.

Awarded “Best Design Material” by Dwell and “Top 100 Best New Home Product” by This Old House in 2015.

### Industrial Designer / UX / Training @ Concrete Exchange (Cheng Concrete, LLC)
Jan 2011 – Jan 2014 | Berkeley, CA
Developed DIY projects using CHENG products which have garnered over 1.5+ million views on Instructables and cemented CHENG's status as the leading source for concrete countertop / project information.
