My current interests are towards software development for healthcare IT applications. I specialize in handling Electronic Medical Records and patient data. I am particularly focused on HL7 and FHIR messaging standards, Virtual Care, Remote Care, Telehealth, Health IT interoperability, Epic Vendor Service (f.k.a App Orchard, App Market) or Cerner Code app development, medical record data conversions and regulatory reporting programs (Meaningful Use, State Registries). 

Current technologies I am actively using Ruby on Rails, Javascript (via AngularJS and Mirth Connect), various SQL implementations (Postgres). Extensive past experience with Python, Intersystems Cache/MUMPS, Rhapsody Integration Engine and Mirth, and a number of medical record systems (Epic, Cerner, Nextgen, Allscripts, AthenaHealth).

### Staff Software Engineer @ Fabric

• Develop for a virtual care platform using Ruby on Rails with React front-end, primarily as a back end engineer concentrating on Medical Record data pull and pushes.
• Serve as technical leader for the integration team to co-ordinate and design implementation for common integration concerns
• Oversaw a de-install of Redox EMR integration middle-ware as a cost saving measure, by replacing functionality within a standard Mirth Integration Engine set up within a month timeframe
• Supervised FHIR R4 standard upgrade for DSTU2 applications
• Cerner Code and Oracle FHIR application approval process in progress for 2 SMART on FHIR apps
