I was an SDE on the AWS DataSync team. My project was to add customer-facing metrics to the data migration service that track and report compression information. I modified every level of the tech stack, including work in multithreaded C++ repos and the front-end layer.
I was a research assistant at the Autonomous Intelligent Robotics Lab at Tufts. The goal of my research was to develop algorithms to allow machines to autonomously adapt to changes in their environments using reinforcement learning and other methods. My project was primarily centered around detecting novelties and creatively solving problems in Minecraft.
I built and maintained Spring Boot and Node.js REST APIs with working endpoints, tests, and deployment pipelines to enable developers around the company to quickly stand up their own applications by augmenting these patterns with new capabilities. I also developed proof of concept work for patterns based on Kafka Event-Driven Architecture.
