Cloud Microservices

• Spearheaded several mission-critical projects for electric vehicles in the areas of signal processing, vehicle commands, customer push notifications, and fleet management, leveraging Golang and MongoDB within an AWS backend microservices architecture

• Brainstormed and developed cost-saving ideas that included real-time vehicle lifecycle updates to alert technicians about costly permanent battery depletion and deactivating inactive vehicle SIMs, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars per month in savings

• Maintained ownership of vital vehicle services for scale and reliability such as user document management, voice assistant, and internet connectivity across different continents and regulations, collaborating with key partners in AT&T, Orange, STC, and more

• Designed and implemented event-driven services to optimize performance, utilizing various protocols and technologies including gRPC, RabbitMQ, and NATS for efficient data communication and scalability

• Led the effort to integrate distance learning into the curriculum, establishing new digital educational platforms and delivering student work packets directly, during the pandemic which helped students recover more than 1.5 years of mathematical comprehension

• Established office hours and support spaces to help students reorient back to learning in a classroom environment

• Hosted remote and in-person extracurricular activities centered on community-building and cultural identity for Asian students

• Committed to bridging the inequity in our educational system and serving students from all backgrounds such as English Learners and IEP students.

• Raised students' academic performance through rigorous assessments and intervention, leading to a 50% increase in content mastery.

• Coordinated the COSC10: Problem Solving via Object-Oriented Programming (Data Structures) curriculum with the professor and led group recitation sessions that focused on good Java coding style and the intuitions behind data structures
