I am currently a student at Stanford University, pursuing a dual B.S/M.S degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. As a Uyghur-American, I am deeply passionate about the intersection of emerging technologies, human rights, responsible tech, and national security. Co-led Machine Learning research project on self-supervision techniques applied to low-resolution satellite image time series. Implemented state of the art machine learning models such as BYOL and Viewmaker using Pytorch. Developed pipeline to download satellite images 50x faster than previously used method within lab. Created and preprocessed full public dataset for crop type semantic segmentation. Published a few papers.

Co-led machine learning research project on controllable facial image generation with user interaction. Researched techniques such as Bayesian Optimization so users have greater controllability of models.
