I've also been filling the software architect gap that ICC has been lacking (across many projects in addition to cdpACCESS). Most recently, reworking user interfaces, redesigning data structures, considering new technical infrastructure organizations, and planning for application scaling. My work has included document repository database design, service layer architecture, SSO architecture within the service layer, front end web interface design/redesign (including usability concerns), workflow design, advising projects on architectural issues, educating vendors about new architecture, reviewing the work of others (both other developers and vendors), data life-cycle design, designing interactions between technology and non-technical departments, and providing input toward our internal processes (especially development processes) and tools. I've also helped work on efforts to transform internal custom tools into marketable items. ### LAMP Developer @ First Stop Health, LLC Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 | Chicago (Loop) I worked for First Stop Health from May to September 2013. Our product was a telemedicine subscription service aimed at bringing together a few concepts from existing online solutions into one item. The system developed was intended both for front end use with end users, and back end use for things like incident and user management. By far, most of the work involved was Javascript, PHP, and MySQL based. There were also semi-frequent uses of CSS and HTML, as well as AJAX with JSON for most of our forms and some of our content. Python was also used on rare occasions. ### Contractor - Developer @ First Stop Health, LLC Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 Telemedicine. I build front and back-end pieces as needed.
