Reviewed and analyzed internal research on Genz’s desires and needs across the realm of Fun. Translated findings into UX high fidelity mocks, creating an innovative easter egg prototype for the comments section. Implemented a prototype of my design, which won an internal competition. Implemented and launched happiness surveys to track user satisfaction with comments. Worked with the ranking team to fully integrate the surveys. Volunteered as a hackathon host for Ada Hacks. Wrote a design doc that discussed the scope and technicalities of my project which included a prototype of a kiosk mode. Collaborated with UX designers to create UX mocks for the prototype using Figma. Implemented the kiosk mode feature that enables offline peer-to-peer app sharing, necessary for developing countries where WiFi is expensive. ### Engineering Practicum Intern @ Google Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Seattle, Washington, United States Programmed in Java for Google Maps, front end development. Implemented license plate restrictions in Santiago, Chile by allowing users to avoid restricted roads. Designed UI mocks for the snackbar that notified users that time based planning and license plate restrictions cannot function simultaneously.
