Co-founded Loop, a B2C company focused on helping families stay better connected. Loop is a private social network app and a Wi-Fi connected digital picture frame. As co-founder and sole designer I helped grow Loop from a two person startup to selling in Best Buy and Amazon with an industry leading NPS score. of 53.

- Sole designer of our iOS, Android, web and Loop frame platforms. Synthesized customer needs, business objectives, and development tradeoffs to generate the company’s product roadmap. Used insights from customer service channels and analytics to guide product targets and worked closely with development team to architect the product’s underlying infrastructure to better meet those needs. Was deeply involved with directing our software development teams on a daily basis.

- Created industrial design for two generations of Loop frame hardware and lead the the entire development process with the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and manufacturing teams from concept to mass production.

- Given the size of the company I had to wear many hats and was heavily involved in all aspects of company including: business development, marketing, PR, retail partnerships, fulfillment, and customer service.  For many of these areas I was entirely responsible for learning the field and handling those domains within the company. This has given me a unique insight into how design fits with other directives and how to best work with cross functional teams.

Worked on a variety of projects from the medical to consumer electronics sector. Involved in all stages of the product design spectrum with a primary focus in research, bridging the hardware + software interface gap, and introducing new user interface workflows to the company. On my largest project I was responsible for designing the entire interface for the Wimm Labs wearable platform which was later acquired by Google and became Android Wear.
