Partnered with 10+ business units across SOMPO to identify and prioritize AI opportunities across underwriting, claims, marketing, customer experience, internal operations, and knowledge workflows. Applied a product design background to 3 core internal AI initiatives, contributing UX design and prototypes for an AI assistant, AI platform experiences, and developer-facing tools. Researched and evaluated 80+ external AI solutions across document intelligence, workflow automation, voice AI, customer support, multimodal damage assessment, and emerging agentic tools, producing market landscapes, shortlists, and build-vs-buy recommendations. Built executive briefs, business cases, and recommendation decks, then scoped proofs of concept and pilots and coordinated 20+ demos and working sessions across business, product, engineering, external founders and vendors, and SOMPO’s corporate venture capital arm and broader VC network.

Designed product experiences for an AI and ML-powered recruiting and talent intelligence platform used in executive search for engineering, product, and design roles. Worked across 4 core product surfaces including onboarding, product guidance, analytics, and workflow-heavy experiences, using research, prototyping, and testing to turn recruiter pain points into clearer product decisions. Also contributed to the design system and collaborated with engineering, data science, QA, marketing, and design to bring new ideas into production.
