Most recently at SOMPO Digital Lab Silicon Valley, the AI-focused innovation unit within SOMPO Group, I worked across a global insurance group spanning property & casualty insurance, reinsurance, health & wellness, and financial services to identify AI opportunities, evaluate external solutions, build business cases, scope proofs of concept and pilots, and support internal AI tools through UX design and prototyping. Across that work, I partnered with 10+ business units, researched and evaluated 80+ external AI solutions, and coordinated 20+ demos and working sessions tied to high-priority opportunities. Earlier in my career, I worked in product design, which is still a meaningful part of how I operate. Jan 2023 – Jan 2026 | San Francisco Bay Area Connecting AI to insurance - identifying use cases, evaluating external solutions, and prototyping internal AI tools. Riviera Partners is an executive search and talent partner to venture firms and high-growth technology companies. Designed product experiences for an AI and ML-powered recruiting and talent intelligence platform used in executive search for engineering, product, and design roles. Worked across 4 core product surfaces including onboarding, product guidance, analytics, and workflow-heavy experiences, using research, prototyping, and testing to turn recruiter pain points into clearer product decisions. Also contributed to the design system and collaborated with engineering, data science, QA, marketing, and design to bring new ideas into production. ### UX Design Intern @ Autodesk Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco, California Prototyping onboarding and collaboration experiences for AutoCAD Web. Contributed to file-sharing, onboarding, and in-product guidance experiences for AutoCAD Web in collaboration with product, engineering, and design teams. Built and tested prototypes, explored improvements to onboarding and tooltip UX, and helped refine product flows with a focus on usability, activation, and clearer in-app guidance. ### Research Intern @ Skyline Capital Management Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Irvine, CA Researching consumer software opportunities and producing briefs for an investment team. Supported the investment team through product research and analysis across consumer software areas of interest.
