I designed and implemented several major components of the backend architecture for Nest

Renew (https://nestrenew.google.com/welcome/), a clean energy program for Nest thermostat users.

July 2017-August 2019:

I worked on the control and host planes of the virtual networking infrastructure for Compute

Engine (the compute offering in Google Cloud Platform), focusing on improvements to

performance and reliability.

Back-end development for a high-performance time-series database.

Back-end development for analytics and scalability teams. Worked on new features for Test & Learn, APT's flagship product, and led an effort to develop better-performing algorithms for existing Test & Learn functionality.

Investigated the stability of the Lang-Kobayashi system of delay differential equations, which describe the behavior of semiconductor lasers. Developed programs to automatically classify the stability of a numerical solution to these equations.
