Rebuilt, re-imagined and re-architected, CrowdStrike's internal developer platform using Next.js/React.js to increase developer velocity 200%.
Opened the internal developer platform up to other team's at CrowdStrike empowering them to build on top of the platform; on-boarding over 16 teams to create 20+ internal tools.
Created, curated, and updated platform documentation to increase platform development velocity by 20%.
Designed, built, and shipped the re-imagined microservice management section of the internal developer platform allowing over two thousand engineers to ship their microservices 50% faster while reducing deployment-related incidents by 20%.
Created and executed on an ambitious plan to rewrite legacy Python services (critical, but legacy!) into modern Go microservices while keeping 100% API compatibility, 0-downtime cutover, and no defects, massively increasing team velocity on the service and reducing maintenance issues by 80%.

Built a SaaS endpoint monitoring platform for enterprises.
From product conception, our team at Virtyx looked at endpoint monitoring and brainstormed ways to make it more approachable, easier, and better for small business and enterprises. We architected the platform so it could scale to thousands of endpoint agents collecting millions of metrics using Apache Storm and TimescaleDB.
Our customers wanted a lightweight, easy to install, transparent agent to collect metrics. We created this agent in Go, allowing for native installation, fast code execution, and great parallelization. This agent utilized a powerful plugin architecture to allow dynamic tasks to be sent to it. Using this system, the agent could collect new metrics on demand without needing to update itself, allowing for quick developer iteration time.
To control the agent, we designed and created a simple to user cloud dashboard. From the beginning, we focused on a SaaS model for ease of use. This dashboard showed the health of your fleet, the data that was being collected, any alarms or issues that had been detected by the system.
The backend data pipeline was built to be expandable and smart. We piped live data through our analysis engine to automatically flag problems and learn on the fly without our customers needing to setup every alarm themselves. I could not have done this without my incredible team and their talent and engineering. We collaborated often and had our daily scrums where we hashed out blockers and kept each other up to date.
