• Orchestrated high-priority initiatives centered around availability and scalability for Bolt’s Commerce Org of ~30 engineers.
• Led development of Remote Checkout which allowed Bolt’s merchants to sell their products on any external medium using secure QR codes and links. This system was successfully launched for Revolve Clothing at NY’s Fashion Week 2022.
• Created the Merchant Proxy service, encapsulating all of Bolt’s merchant platform logic in a single service, allowing the rest of Bolt’s system to behave agnostic of any merchant platform.
• Redefined Bolt’s Checkout GraphQL API contracts, splitting monolithic endpoints into many behavioral driven endpoints. By splitting these endpoints, the team was able to improve monitoring on core user behaviors and increase productivity with better encapsulation.
• Established the Commerce Org’s tech excellence meetings consisting of monthly knowledge sharing sessions, bi-weekly tech leaders meetings, and weekly on-call handoffs. Through these meetings I maintained a thriving remote culture and eng excellence across the org.

• Founding member of the merchant facing engineering team responsible for expanding Bolt’s financial throughput from $150 to $750 mil.
• Developed Bolt’s Feature Optimizer experimentation framework, using Thompson sampling (machine learning) to analyze a merchant’s
checkout’s performance, adjusting a feature’s usage to optimize conversion or cart total.
• Delivered various full-stack features to Bolt’s Checkout including adding gift-card support and the ability to edit an item’s quantity.
• Owner of Bolt’s notifier service leveraging Twilio and Mailgun to send over 50K messages/week to all of Bolt's merchants and users.
• Led customer onboarding for many pivotal merchants which encompassed initial scoping, solutions architecting, and technical project managing.
• Developed a Merchant Metric’s initiative, which digests all external APIs' metrics across multiple e-commerce platforms to access merchant health directly in Datadog.
