Having joined the company in the early days of the project, I had the opportunity to take the game from pre-production concepts and sketches all the way to production and launch. My role involved requirements gathering from a variety of stakeholders (e.g. game designers, engineers, external partners), creating wireframes and interactive prototypes (i.e. in-game features, the HUD, various front end menus and social features), research and data analysis. I had also led the accessibility work by ensuring that our designs met the Microsoft Gaming Accessibility guidelines. As the UX lead, I supported the team throughout implementation and made improvements to team process & collaboration. Throughout production and leading up to launch, I was responsible for providing direction on UX strategy and priority of execution based on both business and player needs. I had also drafted our UX design roadmap for the live game based on player feedback and data post-launch. ### UX Designer @ Relic Entertainment Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ### UX Designer @ Electronic Arts (EA) Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada Shipped FIFA Mobile Season 2 worldwide, and FIFA Mobile China (in partnership with Tencent). As a UX designer, I conducted multiple research activities in order to gain a deeper understanding of our users. In order to surface these insights across the organization (from sales, to support, to engineering and product), I led customer journey mapping workshops and created a set of personas to share with every department in the company. As a result, we were all able to serve our customers better armed with the knowledge of what our user's needs were. I re-designed the client e-mail templates, re-designed the internal tools UI to improve our customer support workflow, and led the accessibility project by designing the first version of accessibility features for both the web app and the iOS app. I had also conducted multiple workshops to share guidelines on how to implement accessibility into our products (i.e. WCAG 2.0). ### UX Designer @ Freelance Jan 2015 – Jan 2016 | Vancouver, BC I've worked on a variety of projects that involve wireframing and prototyping, testing startup ideas, conducting user research, developing personas, information architecture evaluation, facilitating workshops, and consulting. I worked on everything from tradeshows, marketing material, copywriting, content creation and strategy, B2B sales, generating leads, to conducting demos for potential customers.
