- Developed and trained a CNN for nuclei centroid detection in histopathology images, with performance matching the state-of-the-art supervised models trained on point annotations.
- Implemented a pipeline for uploading these AI-generated annotations to the whole-slide image viewer I developed last summer, allowing the visualization of the AI model's results.
- Optimized inference to allow efficient annotation of nuclei centroids on multi-gigabyte images.

- Utilized open-source technology to allow system-wide access to Mount Sinai's multi-petabyte-large image database.
- Implemented the ability to overlay heatmaps, allowing users to visualize results of predictive AI models.
- Wrote scripts that automate database consistency between Mount Sinai's file system and the slide viewer platform's MongoDB instance.
