I work on the Brakes and Ergonomics subteam, focusing on the design and manufacturing of brake rotors within the car’s hydraulic braking system. My work involves using CAD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and ANSYS simulations to optimize rotor performance, durability, and heat dissipation. Throughout the academic year, I contribute to the iterative design, manufacturing, and assembly of our SN5 electric race car, which will undergo full performance testing and compete at national Formula SAE events in May.
