In my time off, you will find me running around the hills of San Francisco, absorbing the quirks of local culture riding Muni, and eating my way around the city. ## Work Experience ### Product Designer @ Ulta Beauty Jan 2025 – Present Contract via Creative Circle Design for checkout on Ulta.com ### Senior UX Designer (via Kforce Inc.) @ Microsoft Jan 2024 – Jan 2024 Help government and public sector customers migrate, build, and digitally transform workloads to the cloud at Microsoft Cloud for Industry Design Studio. ### Lead User Experience Designer @ University of California, Los Angeles Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 Led user experience research and design for a comprehensive, high school level, web-based multimedia textbook on Asian American and Pacific Islander Studies, from concept to implementation. ### UX Designer (via Kforce Inc.) @ Microsoft Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 | Remote • Support design for Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare on the Industry Clouds and Solutions Studio team. • Provided design services for a range enterprise and cloud support services in the Microsoft portfolio as part of the Customer Experience & Success team. ### Product Designer @ Tekion Corp Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco Bay Area • Collaborated with product, engineering and client partners to define scope and align requirements of MVP e-commerce experience for General Motors. • Created customer journeys, wireframes, low to high-fidelity mockups, and present solutions regularly with internal teams and external partners. ### Product Designer @ Walmart eCommerce Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area Design of end-to-end experiences for Walmart.com and app in cross-functional teams as a partner to product, brand, accessibility, content and engineering, examples include: • Designed cart and checkout experiences for wireless products, Rise Registry for Good, and autocomplete address feature that helps decrease AVS errors. • Introduced new item badging strategy, badge design and an event timer that resulted in revenue increase in pilot test for holiday. • Partnered with E2E site issues team to refine customer journey in discovery. • Redesigned transactional email for pickup and delivery (formerly grocery) to decrease contacts per order, and for curbside pickup to increase check-in rates. ### Director of Production @ Betabrand Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, California • Led product team across the development and production life-cycle, collaborating with design team to ensure their vision is realized starting from fabric sourcing, tactical execution and final shipment of all apparel products. • Collaborated with Asia-based suppliers to resolve issues of cost, lead times and quality; troubleshoot problems and iterate processes to enhance partner relationships, improve sourcing strategies in adherence to business goals. • Significantly boosted efficiency by leading design implementation of web-based PLM system to replace Excel tech packs.
