•Leading an eight-person team that builds controls software for a semi-autonomous rover that competes in the annual University Rover Challenge.
•Launched an initiative to transform the controls software documentation with both client-level information and detailed implementation commentary better suited to the high turnover environment inherent to student-run project teams.
•Designing improved interfaces for controlling the rover, including a streamlined command-line interface and a user-friendly graphical dashboard for rover operation built with React and Electron.
•Collaborating with each of the other subteams to ideate new features and improvements to the controls software, and working with other members of the software subteam to break these concepts into realizable subtasks.
