Led several company-wide strategic data science projects in customer understanding/segmentation and activity-based recommendation systems, which led to overhaul of company's product strategy and app UX. Work led to two spinoff teams of 5+ engineers each.
* Pioneered our customer segmentation platform, working as core link between Data Science, Growth/Marketing, Ops, and Design teams to identify user personas and develop go-to-market strategies for new markets and products. Redefined target markets in UK, US, and globally. Informed major strategy shifts to focus on stocks/crypto, daily spending patterns, and relevant partnerships/promotions.
* Spearheaded data efforts for launch in the US, serving as a core link between US and UK HQ teams.
* Played a major role in global adoption of new metrics in growth analytics.
* Identified and socialized core targets around defining our activation "hook."
Work included clustering, Markov models, anomaly detection, time series forecasting and prediction, personalization, and experimentation.
Worked with Core Data Science, Product, Growth/Marketing, Finance, Design, and cross functional teams at Revolut to make mobile banking better and more accessible across the world. One account to do everything, anywhere in the world - foreign exchange/remittance (at the interbank exchange rate!), peer-to-peer payments, current, savings, travel with perks, trading, crypto, and more.
