# Fengbo L. > Product design leader with empathy for people, passion for AI, and a drive to shape the future of agentic workflows Location: Seattle, Washington, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/fengbo As a product design leader with 12 years of industrial experience and 6 years in design education, I built up unique design leadership in the intersection of design, business, technology, and human behavior. I empower customers by translating their needs into strategic design visions and eventually meaningful product experiences. I empower design teams by establishing mechanisms and cultivating a team culture where great design and designers can flourish. I empower organizations by continuously raising the bar of customer experience quality and fostering cross-functional alignment to accelerate our design maturity. In recent years, my focus has been on designing for AI — shaping how people collaborate with AI agents and reimagining the user experience of agentic workflows. This work involves redefining the human–AI interaction paradigm: creating systems that are intelligent, transparent, and collaborative, where humans remain in control while agents take initiative and act with autonomy. Specialties - Designing for AI: Invent interaction models for AI agents, creating intuitive human-in-the-loop patterns, and scaling design systems that make agentic workflows trustworthy, efficient, and empowering. - Drive large-scale design projects from concept to launch: Unpack ambiguity and complexity via user research; reframe the root problems and opportunities by diving deep, develop long-term design visions based on data, insights and good judgment, design experiment roadmaps for quick test and iteration; eventually deliver valuable, usable and delightful customer experiences; - Design for scalability: As a design architect and system thinker, I establish design tenets, frameworks, standards and patterns that others can leverage to build greater things; - Lead and empower design teams: Hire and develop design talent, cultivate an environment for design to flourish, build design practices that accelerate design maturity within organizations, develop mechanisms that improve cross-functional alignment and collaboration. I occasionally write on Medium about design and leadership: https://medium.com/@fengboli ## Work Experience ### Product Design Lead @ Orby AI Jan 2024 – Present As Head of Design, I built and led Orby’s design team from the ground up — setting the UX vision, elevating design maturity, and creating a culture of excellence.
