Full-stack engineer responsible for the technical design and implementation of customer experiences with Amazon’s AI shopping assistant, Rufus.

I have spent my career building micro-services that are low latency, highly scalable and secure. I am particularly passionate about mentoring other engineers to help develop their skill sets.

I have experience with Java, TypeScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, Flutter, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS & Jenkins just to name a few.

My dissertation explored the use of machine learning to autonomously predict emotions from facial data. I achieved near state of the art results by building and training numerous Convolutional Neural Networks and combining them using ensemble learning.
