proposed a bio-inspired model that processes motion transparency a situation that occurs if multiple motions are present in the same region of the visual field, e.g. driving through a snowstorm,

suggested a model for grid cell firing that takes analytically defined optic flow as input,

developed an image-based technique for the quantification of human body fat,

and studied the learning of visual navigation using optic flow and reinforcement learning.
