Lead the design of holistic user experiences across Ford’s global vehicle portfolio by aligning visionary design concepts with manufacturing feasibility. Empowered a multidisciplinary team of designers to craft intuitive, user-centered solutions that seamlessly integrate physical hardware and digital systems. Key responsibilities included:
• Led a cross-organizational process by creating a rubric that programmatically leverages AI models and includes UX and psychology models to help teams understand how to balance tactile and digital controls for an intuitive and safe driving experience.
• Managed development of visionary approaches for XR and extended reality, heads-up, and other secondary displays to enhance driver awareness and reduce cognitive load.
• Drove the design of cohesive input systems for steering wheels, center stacks, and other touchpoints to ensure ergonomic and efficient control to minimize driver distraction.
• Oversaw the orchestration of sound and light elements to communicate system states and reinforce brand identity through multimodal feedback.
