I'm a New York City based Software Engineer with a Finance background. I studied Economics and Finance at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and then went on to work at J.P. Morgan in New York. After working at J.P. Morgan, I learned how to code through self teaching and a coding bootcamp, FullStack Academy.

In my most recent role at Aspen Capital, I contributed extensively to both frontend and backend development. I made significant contributions to multiple applications, including fully building out reusable components and pages in the company's customer facing online portal, gregoryfunding.com, adding and maintaining functionality in the various API services that support the company's operations, and some data engineering that supported an event tracking system.

Working on these projects has made me a well rounded Full Stack Software Engineer as I have gained experience using TypeScript, React.js, Tailwind CSS, and AWS. In addition to the technical skills that I have improved, I have also had the opportunity to enhance my architecture skills and ability to teach others.
